A must-have for any fan
No fan of the Tall Man's collection would be complete without this... air-brushed toilet seat? Yes, for the low-price of only $125 clams plus shipping, this can be yours if you bid now on eBay.
I swear... I couldn't make something this strange up!

Mindwarp, anyone?
Just imagine... a film by FANGORIA starring Bruce Campbell and Angus Scrimm. How cool would that flick have to be!? If only someone would make that...
Actually... they did make it. It was called Mindwarp and chances are, you've never even heard of it. In honor of this forgotten B-movie treasure, I've opened up a Mindwarp Retrospective part of the site with input from Director Steve Barnett and performers Bruce Campbell and Angus Scrimm. See rare photos, read exclusive interviews and check out a video preview.
Also, this retrospective bursts onto the internet with the good graces of Angus Scrimm. The Tall fellow gave it a lovely on-stage plug at the recent Fangoria Weekend of Horrors convention in Los Angeles. Many thanks, good sir!

Phantasm Community Forum Breaks Away!
The Phantasm Community message forum has broken away from the Phantasm Archives and Phantasm5.com websites for the better. I simply did not have the time to deal with it any longer. The Community forum is now it's own separate entity and can be viewed at it's new url: http://www.phantasmcommunity.com.
The proud new administrator of the message forum is Tony Todoroff ("Gopher In Heat" on the boards).
Angus Scrimm as Abe Lincoln!
Visit the 'Downloads' section to catch a few clips from Angus Scrimm's first film role as Abe Lincoln, sixteenth president of the United States of America. This was shot more than a decade before Phantasm was made. Interesting that the Tall Man wasn't the first towering character Mr. Scrimm would play.

Podcast 004 Now Online
While it hasn't hit the iTunes store yet, you can download the fourth podcast in MP3 format on the podcast page under 'FEATURES'. This is the "leftovers" show with more Michael Baldwin, more Stephen Romano and more John Klyza.
Ever want to buy Baldwin's furniture?
This isn't really news at all... but it is slightly humorous! Phantasm performer Michael Baldwin has put on eBay a rather nice leather club chair & ottoman. He says of the item, "... many Phantasmy thoughts have been thunk sitting in this fine Italian chair. I personally drank Dos Equis in this chair."
To see the chair's listing on eBay, click the image to your right.
* Note: Michael has requested that by sharing this with you all, that no one send phan mail to the eBay account the chair is listed from. He will soon have a website online and there will be an open line of communication to him there. He promises to answer every e-mail he's sent once it goes live! But messages to the eBay account will go unanswered.
Bloggin' Here At Midnight
Greetings phans,
There are two updates worth mentioning right now. The first is a batch of rare set photos from the collection of series hearse coordinator Guy Thorpe! You can see the fabulous snapshots here. You can catch Guy from time to time on the Phantasm Community message forum where he lurks as '1hearseman'.
The other update is an MP3 of "Sittin' Here At Midnight" by Bill Thornbury (the polished studio version). Many thanks to Bill for allowing the Phantasm Archives to host this treat! Listen in here.
Fourth Podcast Delayed
This past week saw the unforeseeable meltdown of my personal laptop . Through no easy feat (or easy fee), I've managed to have the majority of my files recovered and have secured a new, less-powerful machine to continue my website work on.
Unfortunately, the fourth podcast episode was compromised in the meltdown and while I still have the raw files from which it was made... I must re-create the episode. An even bigger problem is that my new machine lacks a version of iLife which is essential for creating podcasts and video files.
So the point of this post is to say that while the podcast is far from over, it is on a slight hiatus.
A. Michael Baldwin On The Pocast
This is truly a cool moment in Archives history. If you head on over to the podcast page, you can hear our third episode with special guest A. Michael Baldwin where he candidly gives his thoughts on topics ranging from Phantasm II to the upcoming Phantasm V. This uproarious show is not one to be missed, fellow phans! I've yet to update the Archives page on the iTunes store but it'll happen soon. Until then you can hear it via MP3 file at the link above.
Also.... have you ever found yourself wanting to own a dwarf prop? Yes? Well, have you ever found yourself with about $4,000 to spare? Yes again?! Then head on over to eBay and bid on this Phantasm II dwarf prop so that the rest of us can quit drooling over it! The dwarf props were made by Mark Shostrom and associates in films II and III. View it here: http://tinyurl.com/3yofp7
New Podcast & Contest
The second podcast episode is now available in MP3 format on the Archives and in the iTunes store if you're into that sort of thing. Joining me are Phantasm blogger John Klyza and P5 Screenwriter Stephen Romano. Topics discussed include Phantasm: Oblivion, the comic book (including talk of future issues) and Stephen's upcoming book, SHOCK FESTIVAL. Listen in here: http://www.phantasmarchives.net/podcast.html
Also, I've opened a new contest that gives phans a chance to win one of five rare 20th Anniv. Phantasm posters. To enter, you need to be a member of the Phantasm-Community message forum and have at least fifteen posts. More details can be found here.
Phantasm Pressbook Archived
If you look under the Features section, you'll notice a new page containing seven strange and possibly fabricated articles promoting the original Phantasm from 1979. Did you know that mountain people came down from their caves and halted the filming of Phantasm? Or that A. Michael Baldwin was trapped inside his house for some time because of dead bodies uprooted due to a mudslide? Neither did I.
Phantasm Archives Plugged
If you haven't yet watched the Q&A clips from below of Reggie & Gigi Bannisters recent appearance at a German horror convention, then you've missed something cool! The effects-savy Gigi gave the Archives website a plug on stage!
See for yourself in the video to your right. Thanks to belgiandan for uploading these vids to YouTube.
Tall Man Bust on eBay
A very Merry Christmas to all Archives visitors. Just because it's the most festive day of the holiday season doesn't mean I'm taking any breaks either! Today I've got to share with you all an awesome Tall Man bust that's just been listed on eBay. It was sculpted by Bob Causey, the same fellow responsible for a similiarly cool bust in the Phans section.
Here's to hoping this bust finds its way into the happy home of a true phan! Click the tinyurl to view the auction.
Minor Updates
I've added a rare home video spot for Phantasm: Oblivion to the Downloads section for your viewing enjoyment. I've also archived two extremely well put together 3-D sphere animations made by Brandon Duncan to the Phans section.
