Q: What's this film cell business about?
A: It works like this. You send Anchor Bay Entertainment a letter and then provide satisfiable proof to Phantasm5.com and we'll mail you a film cell display from the original Phantasm. It's that simple.

Q: Keep talking.
A: Okay.... the displays are about the size of a baseball card and you get three cells per card. You can collect as many of these as you like depending on how many letters you send. These are vintage 1979 film cells featuring Mike, Reggie, Jody, the Tall Man and the killer sphere. You don't get to pick your character.

Q: What do you mean by "satisfiable proof"?
A: I'm glad you asked. Ultimately, this is based on the honor system but I've got a way of helping ensure that you're really sending Anchor Bay letters. You can take a digital picture/scan in your stamped, addressed envelope to Anchor Bay and e-mail it to me. If you've done this much, stamp and all, I'd like to think you'd mail it out and not waste that much effort. Send in a picture of your envelope and I'll mail you out a film cell. YOU MUST SEND A PHOTO IN YOUR E-MAIL. Don't just send me an address to mail your cell to because I won't.

Q: This letter writing business isn't my deal. Can I just buy a few film cell displays from you?
A: Most definitely and absolutely not. These are not for sale as I don't aim to make a profit doing this scheme. Matter of fact, it has the potential to become mucho expensive. Between the cost of the acquiring the 35mm trailer, printer cartridges, the clear plastic holders, the envelopes and the postage - I'm going to be taking quite a loss here.

Q: Do you really think my writing one letter to Anchor Bay is going to change anything?
A: Nope. That's why the focus of this whole idea is that you write Anchor Bay ten (or any number) of letters over several months. If multiple fans do this, they're going to take notice. We need a continual, steady barrage of letters hitting Anchor Bay every week. There are *so* many different film cells you could get... I recommend sending as many letters as you can. DO NOTICE that I will be limiting everyone to ONE FILM CELL PER WEEK. You can't send out five letters next week and expect five film cells. You'll receive one film cell for that effort and this is why I suggest you spread your letters out. It will have more of an impact.

Q: I don't know what to put in my letter....
A: It's simple... tell them you want to see Phantasm V. Tell them that you bought the Anchor Bay releases of Phantasm and Phantasm III on DVD. Tell them you imported the Anchor Bay UK Sphere Set. Tell them all your friends want them to make Phantasm V too. It doesn't matter what you put in your letter.... just make sure you mention Phantasm V. You can do this in as few words as possible or in as many words as you like.

Q: These letter campaigns don't work.
A: Screw off, yes they do.

Q: So Phantasm5.com, this is like official? This is connected with Don Coscarelli?
A: Not in the least bit. This website is purely unofficial and fan-made. These cell displays are made by me and and none of this bit is approved of/by Starway International, Silver Sphere, Anchor Bay or the Don himself. 100% fan-run. Got it?
